MODEL 17 / “LIL SMOKEY”
Low ceilings. Close walls.
A little smoke in the sound.
Meet our first drum sound-shaper. Lil Smokey draws on the character of basement clubs in the ’50s and ’60s, bringing body, grit, and a sense of place to the session.
Made with acoustic drums and breakbeats in mind. Put it on a drum bus, a loop, a lone snare. Follow it somewhere unexpected.
